Concerts For Kids

Concerts for Kids is the San Francisco Symphony’s oldest education program, providing over 25,000 schoolchildren with an opportunity to experience a live San Francisco Symphony concert at Davies Symphony Hall.
Concerts for Kids performances are important learning experiences for young students, as an extension of the classroom. The performances are designed to engage the audience, with the conductor leading the concert as a dynamic musical narrator and guide.
Symphonix proudly supports Concerts for Kids by raising funds through membership dues, special events, and corporate sponsorships, as well as by providing volunteers who teach a curriculum designed by the Symphony, or who serve as chaperones for the Bay Area school children attending the concert.
